La Quinta is a beautiful green settlement with villas, apartment complexes and detached houses in the subtropical green north of Tenerife and belongs to the municipality of Santa Ursula. The settlement of La Quinta is situated directly by the sea on its steep cliffs (no beach access) and can be reached quickly from the La Quinta-Santa Ursula motorway exit.

La Quinta is easily accessible by public transport. Bus lines 30 and 102 connect La Quinta with Santa Cruz, Puerto de la Cruz and Tenerife North Airport (TFN)-Los Rodeos. If you live in La Quinta, you don’t need a car, although having your own is handy. La Quinta offers a lot of greenery, nature and beautiful walking and mountain bike trails, also along the spectacular cliffs with fantastic sea views. Also because it is a relatively flat area and so particularly inviting to enjoy nature.

La Quinta has a small supermarket, a wine shop and a restaurant (Taller de Don Diego Álvarez), all within walking distance. La Quinta Hotel also has a nice spa with a warm indoor pool. La Quinta Garden, a park with the beautiful flower statue “La Giganta” and outdoor fitness equipment, is also a great place to relax and work out.

From La Quinta you can walk to the centre of Santa Ursula, there is even a special bridge for pedestrians and cyclists. Just after the pedestrian bridge there is the first big supermarket, Lidl. In the centre of Santa Ursula there are nice smaller shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Santa Ursula has a lively centre where many local activities are organised.

La Quinta does not have its own beach, the nearest beaches are only accessible by car, Playa el Bollullo and Playa El Ancón. Playa Martianez and Playa Punta Brava in Puerto de la Cruz are easily accessible by bus.

The climate near the sea is mild all year round and pleasant even in winter. However, in winter can it get chilly and we recommend guests to bring warmer clothes.

La Quinta is a quiet beautiful central location in the north of Tenerife. Green and close to the sea, with good air, it offers the ultimate opportunity to relax and work.
