About this accommodation

Cozy apartment in residential area La Quinta, in the north of Tenerife. Living room, kitchen and balcony, communal swimming pool with garden on first floor. A spacious bedroom, desk corner, bathroom with bathtub. Smart TV with Netflix and satellite system, 500 Mbit fiber optic internet. Ideal for telecommuting, coastal walks and getting to know the real Canarian culture.

The accommodation
The apartment (40m²) has a living room with subsequent kitchen and balcony. Very fast internet (fiber optic connection) and a flat screen TV with international channels are available.
The open kitchen is equipped with electric stove, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, dishwasher and other kitchen utensils. A seating area is integrated in the kitchen.
The balcony has a table and chairs so you can also sit and eat outside with a view in the greenery.
The beautiful bedroom has a 180x200cm bed and wardrobe with enough storage space. Between the bedroom and the bathroom there is a room which can be used as a small office and is furnished with a desk and closet.
The bathroom has a toilet, sink and bathtub. There is a large communal pool with garden and two outdoor showers. A nice accommodation and ideal for relaxing or working in all peace.
Per week there is a cleaning fee of 50 euros to be paid on the spot to our hostess in cash.

Access for guests
The apartment is located in a beautiful apartment building close to the sea in the village of La Quinta which is part of the municipality of Santa Ursula. In La Quinta there is a lot of green and beautiful trails for hiking and mountain biking, it stretches out to the cliff to the sea. La Quinta has no beach.
La Quinta has a small supermarket, a wine store and a restaurant.
restaurant (Taller de Don Diego Álvarez), all within walking distance. Also, there is a nice spa with warm indoor pool at Hotel La Quinta which is very close. Also La Quinta Garden, a park with the beautiful flower statue “La Giganta” and outdoor fitness equipment, it is nice to linger and do sports.
To the center of Santa Ursula you can walk, there are stores, supermarkets and restaurants. There are two bus stops within 10 minutes walking distance, where you can take the bus to Puerto de la Cruz or Santa Cruz. So you don’t really need a car but it is practical to explore the island by car. The nearest beaches, Playa el Bollullo and Playa El Ancón, are only accessible by car or bus with a steep walk to the beach. The settlement of El Rincon is beautiful for hiking.
The bigger beaches Playa Martianez or Playa Punta Brava are centrally located in Puerto de la Cruz and are easy to reach by bus or car.
The climate so close to the sea is mild all year round and pleasant even in winter. However, it can be chilly and we recommend guests to bring warmer clothes in the winter time.
La Quinta is a beautiful central location surrounded by greenery, close to the sea and offers the ultimate opportunity to relax and work.

Other important notes

1. we charge a cleaning fee of 50 Euro per week in addition to the rent. This 50 Euro cleaning fee is to be paid in cash immediately upon check-in and is NOT included in the Airbnb price. Please do not forget to bring the 50 euros in cash with you, otherwise you will not be able to check in.

2. the flat is available from 3pm on the day of arrival. Please inform us of your expected arrival time at least 1-2 days before arrival. If arrival is after 8pm, this must be arranged in advance.

3. there is a small supermarket within walking distance (5 minutes walk) and a large supermarket Lidl (15 minutes walk).
Charo, our cleaner can do basic shopping (water, milk, bread, etc.) for you for a fee if you wish.

4. a (rental) car is not necessary but practical. You can park in the street in front of the flat for free.

5. late check-in (after 11 pm) is possible. However, this costs an additional 30 euros. Please note that the South Airport (TFS) is at least one hour away from the flat by car. The holiday home is at least half an hour’s drive from the north airport (TFN).

6. our local hostess will expect you at the arrival time you have indicated. If you arrive unexpectedly later than half an hour, please call us as soon as possible. If you arrive unannounced more than one hour later than the stated arrival time, we will charge you 10 euros for each additional hour our hostess has to wait for you. Good realistic coordination of the expected arrival time is very important.
