Holiday home by the sea Tenerife North Private – The holiday home (72 m²) has a living room with a nice sitting area, a flat screen TV with international channels and beautiful sea views. The entrance offers an additional seating/sleeping area for 2 persons and a desk. The open kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher and other kitchen utensils. Right next to the kitchen is a dining table with chairs. The living room and kitchen have large sliding doors with direct access to the garden (140 m²) and a terrace where you can sit outside. The house has 1 bedroom with a 140 cm bed. The bedroom has a bathtub right by the window with sea view.

In addition, the bedroom offers a lot of storage space and a TV with international channels.
The bathroom next to the bedroom has a toilet, washbasin, bidet and washing machine. The bathroom has access to a separate terrace from which the stairs lead to the garden. On this terrace the laundry can be hung up. From the living room there are stairs leading to the garden with separate toilet and outdoor shower. In the garden there is a beautiful palm tree where you can read and relax.
Although the house is located directly in the village, it offers absolute privacy, as all terrace doors and windows face the lake. The sea is directly under the garden and nobody has a view of the garden, the terrace and the house.

El Caleton is about 1 hour drive from the southern airport Reina Sofia in the green north of Tenerife. From Los Rodeos airport to the north it is about 20 minutes by car. El Caleton belongs to the municipality of La Matanza, which is located between the Puerto de la Cruz and the capital Santa Cruz. Puerto de la Cruz is the tourist centre of the north. We recommend our guests to visit cities like La Orotava, La Laguna and of course Santa Cruz because of the many sights.
La Matanza itself is a nice village with small shops, cafés and restaurants. Enjoy the culinary specialities of the island with a glass of wine, El Teide water or fresh juice.

Holiday home by the sea Tenerife North Private – El Caleton is 15 minutes downhill from the La Matanza exit on the motorway between Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz. The small road to the holiday home is remote and winding and a (rental) car is necessary. From the house the bay with natural swimming pools between the rocks and the small village square is very close. The fishing village El Caleton has a local café in the bay and the authentic restaurant Casa Miguel, which is built on the rocks. It is important to note that the ability to swim in the bay depends on the weather and the tides. The sea in the north of Tenerife is much wilder than in the south and in winter swimming is often not possible. The sea and the waves offer a spectacular spectacle and the only possibility to swim is in the natural pools in the rocks. The climate by the sea is mild all year round and pleasant even in winter.

Important information A (rental) car is necessary, we recommend you to book directly at the airport after your arrival. In addition to the rent, we charge a weekly cleaning fee of 50 euros, which ensures that the house and garden are maintained during your stay. Bed linen and towels are changed weekly.
