El Cañón is a well-known family restaurant that has been busy for decades. The restaurant looks like it used to be a garage, now beautifully and simply decorated with tiles on the floor and walls. On the wall are photos of the family. The speciality is grilled chicken, homemade fries and salad. Other local specialities are on offer, but the grilled chicken is a favourite. The bar is mostly frequented by locals who come to have a good glass of wine. The atmosphere is lively and cosy. The price-quality ratio is very good and the service is fast and friendly. If there is no room, you are asked to take a number and wait at the bar or outside for a table to become available. The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 12.00-18.00. You can also take away food, no home delivery. Make sure you arrive on time (before 13.00) if you don’t want to wait too long. Delicious grilled chicken in a relaxed local non-touristy environment, highly recommended!
